Beaty Czetö en Ad van der Kouwe presenteren 32 kunstenaars van de Hungarian ElectrographicArt Association (MET) en 12 deelnemers van de Stichting Kunstwerkt die eenbeeldende ode brengen aan de dichters/zelfmoordenaars Attila József (1905-1937) enPiet Paaltjens (1835-1894). Een poëtische ontmoeting tussen de rauwe, bittere werkelijkheidvan de één en de tragische humor van de ander.Deze bijzondere tentoonstelling – waarmee het 15-jarig bestaan van Stichting Kunstwerktwordt gevierd – zal op zondag 5 november 2006, 16.00 uur worden geopend doormevrouw Ildikó Márkus, cultuurattaché van de Hongaarse Ambassade in Nederland. Revisited 1956, the Hungarian revolution
Slow awakening through the education in the communist regime under the influence of a political prisoner and by meetings with the Hungarian refugees abroad. Backgrounds of 1956 and its meaning for the new generation in Hungary. Besides the historical fact, the discussion is also about the reception of the refugees in the Netherlands, furthermore it tries to answer why the refugees could assimilate into the new society so effective in the science, business, social life and education system.

A MAGYAR FORRADALOM ÉS SZABADSÁGHARC 50. ÉVFORDULÓJA
1956 – 2006

Ünnepi megemlékezés 14:30
2006. október 23-án lesz 50 éve annak, hogy 1956-ban a Magyar Forradalom és Szabadságharc megrázta az egész világot. A magyar nép szabadságvágya őserővel robbant ki a lelkek mélyér(l. Koalíciós kormány vette kezébe a vezetést az 1945-ben a demokratikus választások után létrejött alkotmányos helyzet folytatásaként. E kormány miniszterelnöke a későbbi vértanú Nagy Imre lett. A kormányban többek között olyan kiváló személyek foglaltak helyet mint Bibó István és Kéthly Anna. A kommunista világban felragyogott az az igazi demokrácia, amely mellett a magyar nemzet 1945-ben hitet tett. A múltban a Vasfüggöny mögött csak a magyar nemzet harcolt szabadságáért fegyverrel a kézben: 1956-ban.
A további demokratikus fejlődést november 4-én és azután letörte a szovjet haderő túlereje, de kemény harc árán! A tragédia pedig ott maradt az egész világ erkölcsi tudatában mint le nem rótt adósság. A nagyvilág 1956-ban ébredt igazán annak a tudatára, hogy létezik magyar nemzet. A magyar forradalom leleplezte a kommunizmust s ezáltal elindította a nyugat-európai kommunizmus szétbom- lását. Magyarországon a Szovjetunió kiszolgálói sokkal véresebb megtorlást vittek végbe mint Haynau és társai 1849-ben és azután, akiknek tetteire évente október 6-án, a 13 Aradi Vértanú napján fájdalmasan emlékezünk. – Nem lehet és nem szabad felejtenünk! Ez azért is fontos, mert Magyarországon és a Kárpát-medence országaiban “1956” emlékét évtizedeken keresztül agyonhallgatták, eltorzították, meggyalázták. Korosztályok sora nőtt fel annak igaz ismerete nélkül. ‘1956’ emlékének a méltó megőrzése közös feladatunk, különösképpen az emigrációé, amely saját tapasztalatából tudja, hogy mi történt és miért történt. “1956” Rákóczi Ferenc Függetlenségi Harca és az 1848/49-es Szabadságharc egyenes folytatásaként tekintendő. - Jó meggondolni azt is, hogy a Vasfüggöny 1989-ben a magyar határnál, magyar kezdeményezésre omlott le.
A hollandiai magyarság többségében azokból és azok családtagjaiból áll, akik 1956/57-ben menekültként hagyták el Magyarországot. ‘1956’ a mi útlevelünk! - Hollandia a Magyar Forradalomban önmaga sorsát élte át a 2. világháború alatt. Ezért segítette az egész holland nemzet nagy szeretettel a menekülteket, akiket maga Juliana királynő fogadott az utrechti Juliana Hal-ban. Itt is kiemeljük a Holland Háborús Ellenállási Mozgalom fontos szerepét a menekültek fogadásában. A magyar menekültek második otthonra találtak ebben az országban annak alkotó részeként, mert gondolkodásukkal, akaratukkal, szorgalmukkal abba beleillettek s benne megállták a helyüket. Ugyanakkor (k és családtagjaik az egyetemes magyar kultúr-világhoz is tartoznak. Mindez megtermékenyíti életüket és beleépíti őket mind a holland társadalomba mind a Magyar Szellemi Hazába, amelynek három része van: Magyarország, az utódállamok magyarsága és a nyugati magyarság.
2006. október 22-én ünnepeljük a Magyar Forradalom és Szabadságharc 50 éves évfordulóját
Rotterdamban ott, ahol az elmúlt években is tettük: Groothandelsgebouw, Zalencentrum Engels
nagytermében. Tesszük ezt a hágai Magyar Nagykövetséggel karöltve.
Azt a Forradalmi Zászlót, amelyet 1956-ban a magyar menekültek a királynőnek adtak át, gyermekeink és unokáink csoportja fogja kitűzni az ünnepély kezdetén.
Az e csoportban való részvételre már most lehet jelentkezni az alábbi címen, levélben vagy e-mailen, de lehet helyben is.
A megemlékezésre – délelőttre és délutánra - mindenkit szeretettel hívunk és várunk.
